WHAT'S NEW @ PERK UP CAFE?
ART by Nancy Cotterill Nancy has been painting for almost three decades beginning with primitive and impressionist styles. Since the 90's her work has been almost exclusively contemporary. Says the artist, "Although I took courses, I admit I generally found my own way as paint splattered on the floor. But since I started painting contemporary paintings in earnest I have come to work mostly in acrylics, with some oil, pencil and paper added at times...and I love to paint large. (Like 4' x 5'!) Recently I've been able to put some of my ideas into a smaller format and am loving the result. I still do unconstructed landscapes and more impressionist takes on favorite scenes.
