HAPPENINGS @ PERK UP CAFE Paintings by Becky Wentworth
Becky is a late blooming, self taught, mixed media artist and loves every minute of it! After spending 30 years in a career as a mental health therapist and a crisis clinician, she experienced burnout as many therapists do. She began to crave the joy she experiences while creating something tangible.
Mixed-media with its endless possibilities of combining mediums and techniques, is for her often unplanned and serendipitous. It requires her to stay in the moment while allowing her to discover, play, and create pieces which may be complex and meaningful, or simply a colorful feast for the eyes. She hopes you enjoy viewing her mixed media art as much as she enjoys creating it!
